The Menu and Mealtime Quality Assessment

The 'Mealtime and Menu Quality Assessment for Residential Aged Care' in Practice

The webinar is brought to you by the DA Education Centre and the DA Policy and Advocacy Team (2021) as part of the 'Advocacy Insights' Complimentary CPD Campaign.

This webinar is pre-recorded (not live). The recording will be emailed to registrants on 30 June 2021.

The Menu and Mealtime Quality Assessment for Residential Aged Care (recently launched in April 2021) has been developed by Dietitians Australia for the exclusive use by APDs, to provide aged care homes with an expert assessment of their nutrition care, menu and mealtime experience, using the Aged Care Quality Standards as the framework.

In this webinar, Julie Dundon and Vanessa Schuldt will use a 'how to' approach and walk participants through the assessment process. A real life case study will be use to demonstrate:

  • How the assessment works in practice;
  • Types of recommendations that may be included in the report;
  • Examples of actions that may be included in the corrective active plan; and
  • What a final report may look like

If you currently work in residential aged care, or are keen to delve into this field of work, this webinar is for you!
