Practical Guide for Supporting People with Diabetes

Dietitians will learn how to initiate a positive and empowering conversation with their clients who live with diabetes to support them in priority and goal setting, strategy development and a plan to monitor their progress towards success with their diabetes management.

Diabetes is a complex and intensive condition people live with and manage 24/7, 365 days of the year, with changing requirements over time and new evidence into new management strategies also being factors. People with diabetes spend approximately 1% of their time a year with their healthcare professionals and only a fraction of that time with dietitians. This webinar will focus on how to make the most from your consultations with people living with all forms of diabetes, to support and empower them in their self-management and care.
