- This presentation will highlight the latest evidence on the medical and nutrition management of diabetic nephropathy.  

- Key messages and priorities for nutrition education in the earlier stages of CKD will be discussed, including practical food-based examples.

 Speakers: 

Anthony Meade, APD, Advanced Renal Dietitian Central Northern Adelaide Renal and Transplantation Service, Convenor Renal Nutrition Program. Anthony is an internationally recognised Renal Dietitian, passionate about demystifying nutrition for kidney disease and translating the existing evidence into practical advice for people living with kidney disease.

Claire Trimingham is a Specialist Renal Dietitian, working with Central Northern Adelaide Renal & Transplantation Service (CNARTS) for over 10 years. Claire also has significant experience in working with people living with diabetes having worked as a Specialist Diabetes Dietitian previously. Claire is passionate about nutrition care for people living with kidney disease in particular the importance of gut health and nutrition interventions that could improve this.
