Research Bites: Contemporary Reviews

Research Bites: Contemporary Reviews
Join our panel of authors as they come together to present their latest research published in the Nutrition & Dietetics journal. In this webinar, authors will provide an overview of their findings and recommendations to put their research into your practice.

Research papers:
- The role of collective impact in improving nutrition: A scoping review - Dr Sue Kleve and Kate Pyke

-Allied health student experiences of older adults in residential aged care facilities: A scoping review - Dr Marie-Claire O'Shea

Application into practice:
- A collective impact model is a transformative approach that tackles complex health and social problems by fostering collaboration, uniting efforts among diverse organisations from various sectors working towards a shared goal. Sue and Kate's presentation will provide insights to the key ingredients of Collective Impact and example of what this looks like in action.

-Allied health students had mostly positive attitudes and experiences towards working with older people during practical placements. The next phase is to explore allied health students' intention to work with older people and how educators can increase this desire.
