Intersection between First Nations communities, health and disability

Intersection between First Nations communities, health and disability
This webinar will provide Dietitians with a deeper understanding of the barriers faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability, including their access to goods and services, such as healthy food and diet, relevant to improving their lives and functioning.

Damian will discuss the concepts of culturally sensitive inclusive practice for First Nations consumers and the barriers they may face in accessing Dietetic support. He will guide dietitians towards practical solutions to enable meaningful and culturally appropriate engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disabilities. Damian encourages attendees of the live webinar to bring questions and curiosity to the webinar and join in on the discussion.
