Fussy Eating with SOS Approach

Fussy Eating with SOS Approach
This webinar is brought to you by the Dietitians Australia Paediatric and Maternal Health Interest Group.

Join Dr. Rati Jani as she provides an overview on fussy eating and a dietetic approach to common issues including principles of the SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) approach.

Dr. Jani is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian (AdvAPD) with the Dietitians Australia. She completed her master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Griffith University (2008-2010) followed by her doctorate studies at Queensland University of Technology (2010-2014). Her doctoral thesis was innovative as it was the first study to examine child-feeding practices and its association with childhood obesity among Australian-Indians. Building on her doctorate work, Dr. Jani is currently establishing a multi-centric project (Australia-Malaysia) examining environmental and phenotypic determinants of picky eating in children and its association with their weight status. Dr. Jani has recently received seed grants to support commencement of the picky eating project. Dr. Jani’s multi-country post-doctoral experience in India (2014-15), USA (2015-16), and Australia (2016-ongoing) furthered her clinical and research skills in undernutrition, genetic metabolic nutrition, and type II diabetes, and food mapping.

This pre-recorded webinar is worth 1 CPD hour.
