Binge Eating in Type 2 Diabetes

Binge Eating in Type 2 Diabetes
This webinar is brought to you by the Dietitians Australia Diabetes Interest Group (2022).

In this webinar we address binge eating disorder (BED), the prevalence of BED and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), evidence-based approaches to treatment, and key considerations for BED with T2DM.

The three main learning goals are to: (1) be aware of the diagnostic criteria for BED, (2) understand how BED-related behaviours are occasioned and maintained (ie., case formulation that guides intervention), and (3) appreciate the complexities of BED and type 2 diabetes mellitus, as comorbid conditions.
