Experience an Insight Into Bushtucker with Bush to Bowl
The webinar is brought to you by the DA Education Centre and the DA Policy and Advocacy Team as part of the Dietitians Australia NAIDOC Week Campaign (2021).

Garigal man Adam Byrne will showcase edible and medicinal bushfoods to give participants an insight into a range of traditional bushfood plants used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and how they are used in food today. Adam will provide insights on the significance that these foods play in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's culture and story.

Speaker:

Adam Byrne designs and installs conceptual cultural landscapes for commercial and residential clients. He also co-owns an 100% Indigenous owned bushfood and native plant nursery called Bush to Bowl on Garigal/Cammeraygal land on the Northern beaches of NSW. This has been created to be a platform for First Nations people to grow their traditional foods and health through Culture and being on Country.

This webinar will be hosted by Vanessa Schuldt, Senior Policy Officer at Dietitians Australia.
