Speaker:

Nicole Walker completed her Masters of Dietetics in New Zealand then worked there for three years before heading over to the UK and Cyprus to work for the British Military. She moved to Brisbane in 2018 and worked at the Queensland Diabetes and Endocrine Centre at Mater Hospital before starting in Private Practice at Macintyre Health in 2019. Nicole now lives on the Gold Coast and provides clinics across South East Queensland and via Telehealth. She also works part time for Medtronic Diabetes as a Clinical Specialist. Her career has led her to work with many people with diabetes, eating disorders and a combination of the two across various clinical settings. She is the convenor of the Queensland Diabetes Dietitians interest group, mentors other dietitians, has been part of groups writing guidelines for T1DM and disordered eating and regularly provides talks on this topic.
