Mentoring

A great way for dietitians to build their knowledge is by learning from experienced practitioners.

Mentoring benefits both parties by:

  • giving new perspectives
  • expanding professional networks
  • improving communication skills
  • growing confidence

Meetings can be in person, or via online video conferencing, such as FaceTime, Teams etc.

Become a mentor

Being a mentor is a wonderful way to share your experience and support new members of our profession.

You can mentor if you're an:

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
  • Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian (AdvAPD)
  • Fellow of the Dietitians Association of Australia (FDAA)
