Speakers:

Amanda Lee Davis (Advanced APD, Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC)) has worked in a statewide eating disorder service (QuEDS) for ~15 years. As a member of the QuEDS service development and consultation services team, she has actively worked to up-skill dietitians and other health professionals to safely, effectively and compassionately manage the treatment of people with eating disorders (ED) across public and private sectors. She has extensive experience in direct client assessment/treatment recommendations, consultation to clinicians and treatment guideline development. Recent achievements include the development, evaluation and ongoing management of the QuEDS Facilitated Peer Supervision program, which currently provides monthly ongoing ED-specific clinical support to >100 dietitians across public/private arenas, and involvement in the development of the 'T1D and disordered eating' guidelines. In addition to Amanda's role as Senior Dietitian, QuEDS, she has a private practice (informED Dietetics) which provides online supervision for dietitians working in the eating disorder sector, and supervision of supervision.

Danielle Cave is an Associate Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics and PhD Candidate at the University of Queensland. Her doctorate research explores appropriate and sustainable change in residential aged care, using a case study on food fortification strategies. She was the recipient of the Dietitians Australia Fay McDonald Academic Scholarship in 2020, which supports further study and training in food service management. This scholarship allowed her to pursue further study in foodservice management through the completion of an online Certificate in Senior Living Management from Cornell University and an international study visit to Sweden and Denmark.

Dr Jack Bell is an Allied Health Principal Research Fellow and Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) at the Prince Charles Hospital, and honorary Associate Professor at the University of Queensland, Australia. He has worked clinically in orthogeriatric settings for 25 years. Key interests include implementation approaches that support interdisciplinary nutrition care, values-based healthcare, and camping off-grid with his family.

Taylor Wales-Ryan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian, and Founder and Director of The Sports Dietitian Co. Taylor’s experience stems from the sports performance realm, where she has predominately worked with strength and conditioning athletes from recreational to elite standards internationally (particularly within CrossFit, powerlifting and weightlifting fields). The knowledge and experience she has acquired have led her to work alongside some of the top athletes at the Olympics and the Crossfit Games for several years.

Marika Day is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), recipe developer, speaker and founder of fuelled by Marika Day. Marika's philosophy is that nutrition and health are about living a balanced life that supports you physically and mentally. Marika is an advocate for focusing on building healthy behaviours over restrictive and aesthetic-based messages driven by diet culture. Marika has a realistic, balanced and evidence-based approach to nutrition which she shares through her online platform fuelled by Marika Day and her social media accounts.
