Amplifying the Impact of Dietitians in NDIS

This introductory webinar is designed to equip dietitians with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills needed to amplify the impact of Dietitian’s within the NDIS.

 

Led by Shannyn Thatcher, an Accredited Practicing Dietitian experienced in both nutrition and disability advocacy, this session dives into the practicalities of working in the NDIS space. Dietitians will learn how to confidently accept NDIS referrals, access support resources, manage invoicing, understand the client's NDIS journey, and utilize effective report writing tips. Shannyn will provide essential guidance and practical insights, to help dietitians gain confidence in serving NDIS clients, enabling them to navigate the process with assurance and deliver optimal care.

Leading The Real Eat in Melbourne, Shannyn and her team specialise in providing tailored care for individuals with complex disabilities. Beyond her practice, Shannyn actively shares her expertise, conducting training sessions for fellow dietitians and presenting to disability organisations to elevate the visibility of the dietetic profession. With a commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of care for her clients, Shannyn also contributes significantly to the enhancement of patient pathways and has been honoured with invitations to share her insights and expertise with national organisations.
