Application to practice:
- Dietitians will gain insights from a project which aims to design a new food service model for an accommodation service provider and learn about residential food service considerations for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Dietitians will be provided feedback on a renal menu to First Nations customers.
Speaker:
Amy Calvert is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with over 7 years’ experience working as a Community Dietitian within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services throughout Far West Coast of South Australia and Far North Queensland. She currently works for Aboriginal Hostels Limited in a food service capacity and lives on Anmatjere Country
Dana MacRaild is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with over 10 years’ experience working as a dietitian across a broad range of clinical areas in NSW and NT hospitals. She is currently living in Ngunnawal & Ngambri country and works for Aboriginal Hostels Limited in a food service capacity.
