This interactive networking evening will unpack the practical differences between coeliac disease, IgE-mediated wheat allergy, wheat-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis (WDEIA), non-coeliac gluten sensitivity and gluten/fructan intolerance, and link these conditions to the latest precautionary allergen labelling (PAL) guidance.
Led by Dr Kim Faulkner Hogg (Coeliac Australia), the session will include a presentation and Q&A, followed by informal networking over light refreshments.
Perfect for dietitians working in gastroenterology, allergy, primary care, private practice and community settings who want to sharpen their clinical reasoning and feel more confident navigating “gluten-free” in the real world.
Virtual option is available only for regional and rural dietitians. Sydney based dietitians and friends are encouraged to join the event face to face.
This networking event is brought to you by the NSW Branch, Adverse Food Reactions Interest Group (AFRIG), and Coeliac Australia (2026).
