Tracy Hardy (proud Gamilaroi woman, RAPWG member and Dietitians Australia Board Director) and Robyn Delbridge (RAPWG Chair) will have a yarn about our reconciliation journey, including reflections on key achievements to date and vision for the future of reconciliation work in dietetics.

Webinar participants will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end, with Robert Hunt (Dietitians Australia CEO) and Vanessa Schuldt (Dietitians Australia Senior Policy Officer) included in the Q&A segment.

Speakers:

Tracy Hardy is a Gamilaroi woman, APD and founder of Wattleseed Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing. Wattleseed Nutrition is a 100% Aboriginal owned and operated business based on Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi Country (Queensland's Sunshine Coast). Tracy takes a personalised, holistic and culturally-centred approach to food, food environments, meal patterns, eating habits, health and wellbeing. She truly believes in the strength and healing power of understanding, revitalising and sustaining our connections to traditional native bushfoods, Country, and cultural practices. Tracy believes through sharing knowledge we foster understanding and grow stronger in self, mind, body and spirit wellbeing.

Robyn Delbridge is an AdvAPD and Chair of the Dietitians Australia Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group (RAPWG). Robyn identifies as a white Australian woman and acknowledges the privileges she has inherited. Robyn has worked in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations for 15 years before moving into academia where she is a Lecturer teaching dietetics and championing issues of decolonisation, Indigenisation and reconciliation in higher education and particularly how this can play out in dietetics settings. She is also a big fan of conversations over coffee!
