The Centre for Advanced Learning (CAL) is excited to bring you the Leadership Skills for Dietitians Evergreen course - Module 1: Self-leadership.
Audience: his course is designed for dietitians with 0 – 3 years’ experience in a leadership role. This course can also be used as a refresher if you are returning to a leadership role after some time away.
Learning outcomes:
- Highlight why leadership skills are of value to dietitians (for yourself, the organisations you work with, the profession and the public/people you serve)
- Raise awareness of the internal barriers that commonly get in the way of confident leadership
- Reinforce and raise awareness of the attributes you have that support effective leadership
- To highlight the importance of emotional intelligence to support effective leadership
- Understand your leadership style
Course overview:
This module is the first of 3 modules in the Leadership Skills for Dietitians Evergreen course. The aim of this module is to build belief around your value as a leader.
Access to the course: new registrants will be automatically uploaded to the Learning Portal. Instructions for accessing the course will be included in the order confirmation email. Registrants will have access to the course for 12 months from their enrolment date.
Format: Evergreen courses are entirely online and self-paced.
CPD hours: this module is worth 5 CPD hours.
Note: individual modules do not qualify for a Professional Certificate. Professional Certificates are awarded to those who complete the full course only.
