The Centre for Advanced Learning (CAL) is excited to bring you the Leadership Skills for Dietitians Evergreen course.
Audience: this course is designed for dietitians with 0 – 3 years’ experience in a leadership role. This course can also be used as a refresher if you are returning to a leadership role after some time away.
Learning outcomes:
- Learn skills and techniques that increase confidence to take on and work in leadership roles
- Develop confidence in re-entering the workforce, either returning to practice or returning to a leadership role
- Develop skills to support dietitians to advance their career by applying for leadership positions
- Provide skills that enable dietitians to break through self-imposed limitations that create barriers taking on leadership roles and/or advancing their career
- Provide skills that enable dietitians to increase confidence to speak up, advocate and influence
Course overview:
Over 3 modules, the course provides videos, resources, and recommended readings to enhance your active learning experience.
Module 1 is called 'Self-leadership'. The aim of this module is to build your belief around your value as a leader.
Module 2 is called 'Confident communication'. The aim of this module is to learn communication techniques that will increase your confidence as a leader.
Module 3 is called 'Influence and advocacy'. The aim of this module is to provide techniques that create confidence to advocate and influence for yourself and others.
Access to the course: new registrants will be automatically uploaded to the Learning Portal. Instructions for accessing the course will be included in the order confirmation email. Registrants will have access to the course for 12 months from their enrolment date.
Format: Evergreen courses are entirely online and self-paced.
CPD hours: this course is worth 15 CPD hours.
Certificate: upon completion of the course, you will be able to download your Professional Certificate from the Learning Portal.
