The Centre for Advanced Learning (CAL) is excited to bring you the Leadership Skills for Dietitians Evergreen course - Module 2: Confident communication.
Audience: his course is designed for dietitians with 0 – 3 years’ experience in a leadership role. This course can also be used as a refresher if you are returning to a leadership role after some time away.
Learning outcomes:
- Identify how language helps or hinders your leadership
- Learn how to formulate a message and communicate it with clarity
- Learn key techniques that enable your message to be heard by others
- Learn techniques for handling dominance, dismissal and disruption when you speak
- Learn techniques to build effective listening skills
Course overview:
This module is the second of 3 modules in the Leadership Skills for Dietitians Evergreen course. The aim of this module is to learn communication techniques that will increase your confidence as a leader.
Access to the course: new registrants will be automatically uploaded to the Learning Portal. Instructions for accessing the course will be included in the order confirmation email. Registrants will have access to the course for 12 months from their enrolment date.
Format: Evergreen courses are entirely online and self-paced.
CPD hours: this module is worth 5 CPD hours.
Note: individual modules do not qualify for a Professional Certificate. Professional Certificates are awarded to those who complete the full course only.
