Becoming a member of Dietitians Australia connects you to a national professional community dedicated to advancing dietetics. Your membership supports advocacy with government and decision-makers, raises public awareness of the impact of dietitians, strengthens professional standards, and helps create new opportunities for the profession.
Our Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program is the only dietetic credential recognised by the Australian Government (for Medicare and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs), many state and territory governments and most private health insurers. We offer 3 membership types, Full membership, Student membership and Affiliate membership. Only Full membership is eligible to join the APD Program.
