About the webinar:

Would you like to increase your confidence in supporting people living with dementia? Help your clients reduce the risk of weight loss or malnutrition?

This webinar will provide an overview of dementia, the main causes of dementia as well a different signs and symptoms associated with the disease. Good nutrition is essential to keep the body strong and healthy. For those living with dementia, as the disease progresses, loss of appetite and weight loss are common concerns. This webinar will arm you with practical skills to support those living with dementia at mealtimes, to increase intakes (as it can be challenging and sometimes you need to be very creative). Come along to also gain useful tips on how to advocate for dietetic services in an aged care, particularly for those living with dementia.
