Audience: this course is designed for dietitians with 1 – 3 years’ experience in practice. This course can also be used as a refresher if you are returning to practice or wish to upskill in this area.
Course overview:
Over 2 modules, the course provides information, resources, and case studies to enhance your active learning experience.
Module 1 is called 'Cultivating therapeutic relationships'. The aim of this module is to explore the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and how it can be enhanced through professional warmth and authenticity, as well as counselling mindsets and micro-skills.
Module 2 is called 'Behaviour change techniques toolkit'. The aim of this module is to explores a variety of evidence based behaviour change techniques derived from Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and their real-world application with clients.
Access to the course: new registrants will be automatically uploaded to the Learning Management System (LMS). Instructions for accessing the course will be included in the order confirmation email. Registrants will have access to the course for 12 months from their enrolment date.
Format: Evergreen courses are entirely online and self-paced.
CPD hours: this course is worth 10 CPD hours.
Certificate: upon completion of the course, you will be able to download your Professional Certificate from the LMS.
