Audience: this course is designed for dietitians with 3+ years of experience working with paediatric clients, or with adult clients living with diabetes. This course can also be used as a refresher for dietitians returning to practice.

- Describe considerations specific to the management of type 1 diabetes in school-aged children
- Identify strategies for managing diabetes at school including the use of individualised management plans
- Describe considerations for management of type 1 diabetes at school camps
Course overview:
This module is the eighth of 11 modules in the Nutrition Related Care in Paediatric Diabetes Evergreen course. The aim of this module is to review the various considerations that are specific to the management of type 1 diabetes in school-aged children, including strategies for managing diabetes at school, school camps, parties, and sleepovers.
Access to the course: new registrants will be automatically uploaded to the Learning Management System (LMS). Instructions for accessing the course will be included in the order confirmation email. Registrants will have access to the course for 12 months from their enrolment date.
Format: Evergreen courses are entirely online and self-paced.
CPD hours: this module is worth 1 CPD hour.
